At the moment of writing the first 2 concerts are already behind us.
The day before yesterday March 25 it was France who had the honor with the start of this tour.
It was Tours - Le Vinci where Andrea McEwan played as support act for almost 30 minutes accompanied
by the drummer and bass player from Katie's own band and also using a computer to create rhythm.
After that it was Katie herself who came on stage to play an acoustic set starting off with 3 solo songs
on guitar, the first to be Piece by Piece, and then turned over to the piano to do I Do Believe In Love.
The light panels on the stage created a beautiful effect and when they turned over the whole band was
displayed to join Katie for the rest of the evening.
On these panels they showed during the whole evening several clips and films to fit the songs.
In between the songs Katie told some interesting stories and without further intermission she performed
for about 2 hours.
The encore she gave after a overwhelming applause consisted on 3 songs among them a
Janis Joplin one titled Cosmic Blues.
